Fox is now reporting that 3 ships have been hit. We are not yet escorting any ships.

Also, Fox is reporting that it seems our military strategy is to let the ships in Hormuz sit, finish the military targets, then worry about the ships in transit. May be a few more weeks, supposedly. Meanwhile, new oil may seek alternate routes out. And some ships may turn back and offload.

Also, there is some doubt that the son of the Ayatollah is still alive.

With the amount of product that flows through there, 2-3 more weeks of no movement will create an economic disaster for many countries.

If that happens, this could go down as one of the worst decisions ever made by a US president. Seems like they should have made sure they had this secured before they started bombing.

Also, if this goes on another 2-3 weeks, it will become fairly clear that this cannot be done by air and sea alone...and if you think this operation is unpopular now, wait to see how unpopular it becomes if we put boots on the ground and start piling up casualties.

You missed the part where plans are being made now to reroute any new oil. And the stuck ships may do the same, and stay out of the Strait.

But keep cheering for the worst to happen!

P.S. The initial estimate before Epic Fury started was that it would take 4 to 8 weeks.

Should they have also secured world peace and cured cancer first? There is no "alternative" to secure "before bombing". Thats why this Iranian threat has always been considered Iran's "nuclear option". That said---"bombing" is exactly how this threat is permanently removed from the board. We have removed one method of enforcing a closure of the Straight (navy gone--likely any permanent coastal missile emplacements are gone---along with their radars). Now we are working on the asymmetrical threats---as well as leadership strikes and our other goals (eliminating nuclear material threat and the ballistic missile threat).

Yes---this will result in some short term pain. Had we done nothing, we would have ended up with another N Korea---but this one would have been smack dab in one of the worlds most important regions and would eventually have the ability to hit the US mainland. Yeah--maybe Trump could have kicked the can down the road---but personally---Im glad someone finally decided to handle this issue BEFORE Iran went nuclear. I mean, really---if you want to end this threat that a "Death to America" shouting Iran poses---ya want to do it BEFORE or AFTER Iran has an actual nuclear weapon?

Again with the logical fallacy. 03-zzz

And where exactly are they going to "reroute" it? Over land? And even if they could, that's clearly going to take a lot of time...again...throwing global supply chains into chaos.

And sure...the administration claimed at one point in their changing narrative that it may take 4 to 8 weeks, but that was not for a blockage of the strait. I have my doubts those idiots even considered the possibility of it. From their public rantings, they seemed to expect Iran to just roll over.

Pretty sure Obama told us so---and "saved" us with a deal that would not allow Iran to build a nuke until Obama was well out of office. #KickTheCanDownTheRoad

Good grief. It's not worth even trying to debate you. And yes, over land, per reports. They showed a map of the possible rail and road routes to safer ports.

RE: Israel Is Attacking Iran...Now US
Dem’s have offered no options in addressing the Iranian threat for decades other than rooting for American failure, bribery, and inertia. They should put up or shut up.

If you want to end this threat that "Death to America" shouting Iran poses---ya want to do it before or AFTER iran has an actual nuclear weapon?

I'm old enough to remember when Iran was 2 weeks away from the bomb...two decades ago. 03-yawn

Pretty sure Obama told us so---and "saved" us with a deal that would not allow Iran to build a nuke until Obama was well out of office. #KickTheCanDownTheRoad

Obama had a deal.
IAEA said it was working.
trump killed deal with no replacement.
trump failed to negotiate a replacement.
ME is now a cluster and we're two weeks away from a global economic crisis.

Art of the Deal!

Nor with you when you make a completely asinine statement like...

"keep cheering for the worst to happen!"

Anyway...put on a critical thinking cap and just try and comprehend the logistics and cost of off-loading hundreds of tankers...and moving the oil, LNG, fertilizer, etc. across land...and then tell us how quickly that would happen. Not to mention how that would be any more safe for the people moving the items...let alone assuring the safety of the infrastructure and all the countries it would need to pass through.
