But Perdue can be kind of sleazy. He tried to burn the house down in the Republican governor’s primary vs Kemp.

Kemp is a good guy. IF it’s true, he thought it would hurt Republicans at the time.

He can’t stand Trump or David Perdue, and was hoping that he would never have to deal with either one of them again.

Okay, both of those answers makes sense. I lived in the Atlanta area from 1981 to 2014, and still live right across the river from Columbus GA, so I have great interest in GA politics, even now.

I just think in the end, it turned out to be a bad decision. If there really were issues, which certainly seemed possible, they should have been pursued, regardless of personal feelings at the time.

Definitely.

What unfortunately happened at the time is some kooks were leading the way and they discouraged faith in the voting system and even told Republicans not to vote in the runoff, so the Democrats won both Senate races as Republican turnout was really low.

Yeah, all my local TV stations are in Georgia. I'm only 10 miles from Columbus. I'm basically a Georgian at this point. Since 1981.

I just never found out why Kemp acted the way he did, b/c it's not like the local news is going to go after him about it.

The people pushing the efforts to research the election were spouting all kinds of crazy theories like the one about the US army raiding Dominion servers in Germany where they manipulated machines in America. They so discredited themselves, I almost wondered if the Democrats were paying them. And they literally told Republicans not to vote in the runoff!!!

It was really obvious how they stole the elections. Besides deliberate counting mistakes, they used fake absentee ballots. It didn't require software intervention from overseas.
