I blame the political leaders who gin these people up. As demonstrated daily on this board most of them are not that bright and are easily duped. They also have seen that their actions by and large have no consequences.
I don't know what this lady's intentions were. I can certainly understand why these agents would think her intentions were threatening.

Illegal aliens still have due process as defined in the constitution.

It still boggles my mind that only one half of the country can see what I see, and what's really there: A woman in an SUV, Renee Good, obstructing ICE, not complying when told to first leave then to get out of the car, backs up her car, then floors it, spinning her back wheels, and hitting an ICE agent, prompting him to then shoot her in self defense, causing her death, all while Good's wife films it on her camera phone. (More on this a little later in this post.) The other half sees what it wants to see: Renee Good trying to leave only to get brutally murdered by "the masked gestapo" breaking up communities and "disappearing people". (But the thing is if she had left, her wife would still have been there so how does that makes sense? It doesn't.)

I mean I get it. We all have our built-in biases. But what's most baffling to me is why the woman's wife was filming her doing this? Was this supposed to have been a social media moment that ended up going wrong? And if so, what was the point? Regardless, and going back to my original point, it's clear to me that one side will look at something and see the truth whereas the other will look for anything to confirm their own biases, and this situation is the perfect example of that.

What should be common sense is somehow lost on more and more people in this country.
