I'd like to think that the Dem Senator that is all mad that his luxury climate junket isn’t being funded by taxpayers is in some way a byproduct of DOGE.

Perhaps you could post a credible link to ACTUAL fraud/waste they found at USAID. Not vapid barking just because you don't like what they spent it on.

And to reiterate the position I've had on this for years, no, I'm not against clearing out waste and fraud in ANY part of the government, USAID included.

I've long been for it.

I'm all for discussions on what is beneficial government spending and what isn't, and having our elected officials make that determination. The problem with trump and DOGE is that they don't do it in good faith. That was easily shown in the large amount of lies and incorrect conclusions they reached.

It is great when you can afford it... but when the borrowing costs are leading to huge deficits year over year then you start having a problem. You can't keep buying people off by borrowing against the future, you have to save money in other areas then.
