RIP Dick Cheney
He wasn’t my cup of tea, but I had respect for his accomplishments.

I disagreed with him occasionally, but I felt the country would have been in good hands if he were required to take the Presidential oath. May he RIP.

RE: RIP Dick Cheney
I didn't like him very much in the end. He was a massive warhawk who loved forever wars. (And I voted for the ticket he was on twice.) The thing is, I'm still a Republican, but the party's changed into more of a true America First party, not progressive-light. And thank God for that. (At least in my opinion, anyway.)

That said, I don't wish death on anybody; only justice and God's Grace. And really, he did have some more traditional conservative viewpoints I still agree with. He was just part of the establishment in the GOP and had to go.

Rest in Peace, Richard Bruce Cheney.

Tiger1983: I can't say I disagree. I just don't want any forever wars, and that's what we ended up getting with the GWB administration, which I did support at the time, and still have a somewhat favorable opinion of.

Fair enough, stink. And I do agree with you on that. He certainly destroyed a lot more than he built. I guess it's the Christian in me to still try to see the good in people. (Well, most people, anyway. lol) 04-cheers

RE: RIP Dick Cheney
I thought he was already dead based on how he looked the last time Lying Liz drug his corpse around the capitol to DC to try to stop Trump.

The one good thing I recall him doing was back when W had to undergo anesthesia and was in charge. One of our planes crashed with a chinese plane and had to crash land in China. CHina decided to take the people and plane hostage. Cheney parked two aircraft carrier groups off the china coast, with enough fire power to take out about half of china and all of its good parts, and it caused china to crap their pants.
