Guaranteed that both sides are polling this issue every single day. If either side perceives that the tide is turning against them, you could have a “deal” very quickly (on terms agreeable to the other side, of course).

Barring that, the next major political event is the elections in NYC/NJ/VA, five weeks from today. Not that far off. If either side does more poorly than expected, yeah it won’t take long to resolve this.
