I’m a fan of you all this weekend! I just wish they weren’t at the same time and during the Iron Bowl. Lol. I will have my ESPN app smoking on my iPhone watching all UAC teams. The app really makes it so easy to switch back and forth between games.

I'll be rooting for you guys, but we have to get to our game early. Those of us going will be there at least an hour early. I think I will ask our ADs to have the EKU/Villanova game as one of the ones playing in the Club level though. Our Club level has 4 large TV screens in which they always have other games playing. They usually aren't ESPN+ games though. Will see if they can make an exception on one.

Only feel confident about 1 of the 3. And I’ve seen Tarleton lose some head scratchers over the last 40 years. So, maybe I actually feel confident about none of them. I fully expect EKU to lose. ACU is due for yet another UNA/SFA type meltdown, as they are also in uncharted territory.
Whitten will make sure we have a game in the 4th. Footballs ain’t round. Sometimes they bounce funny. But I think we squeak by a non scholarship team.
I’m always a little negative, but Tarleton has let me down too many times to have any swagger. That carries over to our new conference.
We could win all 3, but there is no way we do.
In August I predicted 8-4 no playoffs. I didn’t miss it by much, but I was wrong. I would love to be wrong tomorrow!

I don't expect EKU to lose tomorrow (now today since it is after midnight in the Eastern time zone).

I may be massively underestimating Drake, but they are from the freaking Pioneer League. No scholarships. Two years ago (and I know you can’t compare teams but….) SUU was the worst team in the last year of WAC football, played St. Thomas who won the Pioneer, and SUU won by 31. The Pioneer League Champion hasn’t won a playoff game since the early 2000’s. Drake may be the least talented team we have faced this year.

EKU up 17-9 at half.

EKU down 2 with 2 min left.

Steamed over a reversal where it appeared our LB knocked the ball loose from their QB and we picked it up and ran for a TD. QB looked like he was going to pitch it forward but pulled it back in and it got knocked loose. Replay called it an incomplete pass.

Tough end of the game for the Colonels. Wish there was a better replay of that last pass.

Villanova won 22-17. EKU caught the final pass to the end zone but the WR had his feet on the endline.
