RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #10
As suspected, Whitten didn't have his team ready to go after the bye week. We played sloppy and the entire game our players look confused about their assignments right before snap. QB1 threw 3 picks and Britten barely eclipsed the century mark on the ground. However, our defense stood tall when needed and our size advantage in the trenches with a couple of big plays on offense ended up being too much for AP. Once again, we just can't seem to put it all together and if don't come around it end up biting us in the butt sooner or later. We owe EKU a punch in the mouth after what happened last year, and I'm sure they're being coached up to believe they've got our number since they're undefeated against Tarleton. This WILL NOT be an easy game, and we better get out sh*t together and be ready for EKU's best shot!

Pretty sure we blow EKU away this weekend in the rain. Their fan forum is fun. Go check it out. They are worse than Tech fans. They want new coaches worse than we do. Some of the coaching names they are throwing out there are hysterical. Haven’t seen Saban mentioned yet, but it won’t be long.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #10
As long as Tarleton is ranked especially coming out of transition Whitten’s job is safe. He’s not going anywhere anytime soon. He’s already been there and done that. Tarleton is the only place he’s ever had success.

His ability to recruit is why the team has done so well even through transition.

Tarleton will take care of business at home against EKU.

Road games are much tougher regardless of the opponent.

I will agree with you coming off a bye the Texans sure looked flatter than I expected. They simply did not get up for the Governors. Still, they continue to find a way to get a W.

ACU has an opportunity this week to see if they are a playoff contender. S Utah is no cakewalk.

ACU is going to have their hands full with SUU. I am always nervous when we come out of a bye week. Just WHICH Cats team will show up? EKU will be looking for some revenge as well, but I think Tarleton will be ok as long as they stay focused. Staying focused will have to be ACU's number one priority for the rest of the season.

Most of it is just frustration. The one the posters really want has already been a successful HC at a lower division.

Ask McNeese about coaches with success at a lower level.
Eastern Kentucky travels well. Talked to several at Walmart earlier. And lots of maroon around the stadium. That’s great to see!! Too bad they won’t see our normal crowd. Deer season and the weather has it pretty thin. We’ll see what it looks like in an hour.

The internet is working great. So that tells the tale. There’s actually a few more than I thought. I didn’t walk the tailgate. Maybe there’s more. I’ll guess 7k. Not bad, but we’ll hear about it from certain fan bases. Opening weekend alone would cut it 12k. It’s a heavy mist in the seats right now, which may be as bad as it gets. Shame on you TexanFan! My wife said “pass”, but I gave her ticket to a family of 5 at the window. Saved them a little bit I guess.

ACU hung on to defeat SUU 28-25.

First ACU game I have watched in full and I now see why several of their posters have typed about the team’s inconsistency.

ACU played like I haven't seen them play in a LONG time, both offensively and defensively in the 1st half. The 2nd half, SUU adjusted (actually at the end of the 2nd Qtr), and we didn't. We got soft defensively and stopped executing. We also got sloppy with penalties once again. Our OC is an idiot and our QB, although uber talented, is a moron. We were lucky to limp away with the win and we don't deserve a conference championship. I was shocked at the UT/UCA score... The rest of the season will be tough for ACU because we can't play a full season or a full football game like the same team, even though we are loaded with seniors and talent. 03-puke 03-banghead 03-puke

Tarleton managed to score another 3 to make it 13-7 at the half. EKU will for sure play a very hard 2nd half. This should be interesting.

Tarleton has receivers running open all over the field. If they catch a ball here or there, it’s Church in the second half. Some bad drops. EKU brought a big bag of nothing, but Tarleton will keep it close and interesting looks like. Always do.

Yep.

- Gabalis goes completely blind when his first read is covered.

- Cooper's nickname all next week better be "Butterfingers"

- The one time we needed Whitten to be conservative to wear down the defense and run out the clock, he goes all Air Raid and gives the game away.
