KUDOEs to Tarleton for top 10. Three UAC teams that have been in the top ten. ACU did not last long but I hope we can recover. The Texans look to be the class of the UAC. Pretty remarkable for a transitioning team to be winners each step of the way!

Remember that not only does our offense commit more penalties than most every other FCS team out there, our defense is ranked 110th (although VS had us at 87th?)... We allow our opponents to gain yards on demand and score like crazy.

EKU impressed me with their passing offense and their OL. Our defense played soft, as usual, but got some key stops and take-aways when it counted most... I was glad to see a few Colonel fans at the game. I hope they enjoyed the atmosphere and the B-1s.

Only 3 total penalties called.
Our defense just can't stop teams with a pulse. Congrats to ACU.

Congrats to ACU, WGU and AP.
After watching AP play, I think it’s a Tarleton victory next week.

Agreed, you should win next week. ACU played EKU with an average performance, nothing to get excited about except another 500+ yard game. EKU hung in there well and they have a fine QB in my opinion.
But a word of caution... When two B1B bombers flight over before the start, with full engine thrust, plug your ears. Wow, what a sight, and sound.

I saw more than 3, but the refs ended up really just letting the players play, which was kind of nice for a change. Hats off to EKU. You guys were completely in the game until the 4th. I wanted to know which Cat team would show up and they were much more focused than the previous week. After watching the NDSU/SDSU game though, I get even more frustrated with our defense. I say that, because I have seen ACU have one of the most potent offenses around and can't do anything with it in the post season because we can't stop the opposing teams. I loved our key stops yesterday, but we have to change our mindset as a whole.

Tarleton is set for the next few weeks. It will be the final two games that will be tough. Both of those game have play-off implications. At least you play both us and the Bears at home.

If both ACU and Tarleton continue winning until their game, I would expect a packed house and a great game. Adding to the rivalry!!!!!

I hope they are not thinking like you. Whitten has been sorely outcoached after halftime in more than one game this year.
Texans can’t take anyone for granted.
The one positive that has been a consistent is that the Texans are improving every game. That trend needs to continue.

I agree, I think that is going to be a big game either way, but if we both win out up to that game... look out, it will be crazy. I hate that we have SFA on the road after you all.

If AP can only score 13 against arguably the worst team in FCS than I do not think Tarleton should have any problems beating AP. Being that Mercer and Villanova both lost we should move up 2 spots in the polls to #7 unless we get leapfrogged because we did not play this week.
