I don't think so. I just heard some talking head say that Merchan can take weeks or months just to do the sentencing phase. Then it has to go through all the appellate courts, etc.

No way SCOTUS is going to jump in and rule early to throw out the verdict. That would give Dems an excuse to pack the court, or otherwise neuter it if they win in November, which seems likely now, IMO.

I see multiple possible outcomes. Civil war or mutiple states peacefully succeeding, or just mass riots and uprisings. Or possibly just most republicans and those on the right become to scared to even speak out and we are just a fake totalitarian democracy from here.
