I don't subscribe to it. They can raise it to $100 month. Good luck to them.
I don't subscribe to any Disney related channels, either. In fact, I have never been to a Disney park in my life. Never had the slightest interest to do so.
(My kids had to wait until they were adults and had kids of their own to go there)
I would love to be able to drop ESPN from my DirecTV bill, too.

Did Walt or Roy Disney or Annette Funicello do something bad to you as a child?

Terry's old enough, he probably had a crush on Annette.

No, but I never was a fan, even as a kid.
As an adult, I never had a desire to stand in long lines in sweltering heat and pay a lot of money for fake, man made attractions.
I'd rather go somewhere else on vacation, not a money sucking machine based on a cartoon mouse.

Lol, who didn't, though I was more of a Tuesday Weld or Joey Heatherton fan.

Same here, but I have been forced to take my kids to Disney based on their sheer desire and whining, and now Im being forced to take some grands to Disney in the Fall. I have spent way too much time and money over the years at Disney. But it was worth it to see the excitement and memories being made. So you are telling us that you have never taken your kids to Disney?

Never. They never wanted to go. I never wanted to go. Harmony.
My three granddaughters may go there someday, but not with Pap Pap.

I canceled Disney after they jumped into Florida politics and the wokeness in their kid’s programming. Was thinking of subscribing to ESPN plus this fall but this price increase will keep me away.
We took our then young Daughter to Disney world buying 3 day passes. First day was hot and I was stuck carrying Her everywhere waiting in long lines for the Kiddy rides. She got autographs from all of the characters except Her favorite one Goofy as she froze in her tracks when He bent down to see her.
Next day We got in early and she threw a temper tantrum wanting to go swimming at the hotel so we left
Next day We went to MGM there and was going great until noon then all hell broke loose with a 5" thunderstorm that lasted until after dark and waded through water over our shoe tops .

Lol, I am sorry that I missed all of that experience.

Quote:The tech companies’ interest is a thrill for sports leagues and a terror for media companies that fear competition from rivals that collect tens of billions of dollars from dominant positions in other businesses. Last year, sports accounted for 95 of the 100 most viewed programs on television.
“It’s hard when you’re competing with entities that aren’t playing by the same financial rules,” said Bob Iger, the former chief executive and chairman of the Walt Disney Company, which controls ESPN, referring to tech companies’ bankroll.
