Or at least that's when it will be proclaimed. We are now in about our 6th month of recession.

This is rather interesting.
When Roe v. Wade was first decided, it was not a religious ruling whatsoever...and in fact, must religious folks took little issue with it.
It wasn't until the religious right took it over and made it a political issue to bolster the base of the Republican party.
And apologies, I may have reported one of those posts...but it wasn't a post about the current religious nature of this ruling, it was a post attacking my faith and quoting a bunch of Bible verses toward me which had nothing to do with this ruling.
I've made it clear that I don't want any abortions to take place, but that's just not reality. I want a country where women don't have to follow the religious beliefs of members of government or SCOTUS and are allowed to freely make their own choices of what to do with the fetus inside of them.
I am CLEARLY at ease with my position and how it aligns with being a Christian. I have not had an abortion...I'm a guy. I have not counseled anyone to have an abortion. I have committed no sin here by being in favor of others who may have different religions than me, or no religion at all, to make decisions over their own life and body. If you think I'm a ghoul, or are not a Christian, or am going to Hell, you can think whatever you want. I'm content in my soul.
But we'll see what Christians do now. Will they put time, money and effort into things like universal health care for pregnant mothers who don't have means during and after birth? Will they work to adopt or make adoption easier and cheaper? Will they support adoptions by same sex couples and single parents? Will they support pre-k education and child care...and more subsidies to make it affordable? Will they support school lunch programs? And on and on... They had no problem putting time and money into donating to Republican candidates, supporting fake Christians like trump who was antithetical to nearly every teaching of Jesus, standing outside PP offices, and holding hands in protests, etc.
Let's see now how much they care about the babies.
When they abort the body inside them it no longer is just about their body. It becomes about the other body residing temporarily within them that is already another person if left unmolested.

And in many states killing a pregnant woman will get you TWO counts of murder.

They told those baby killing lower courts to go straight back to the pits of hell from which the crawled.

Keep in mind that the Texas law has the stipulation that if a screwed up judge grants a TRO and allows abortions, and you get one, and then the TRO gets overturned like what happened here, you are still guilty of a crime. So I doubt anyone ran out and got one that fell under that law.
That pretty much ended when a woman decided a couple of months ago to get an abortion anyway, was arrested, then her husband found out she had an abortion without her telling him and divorced her. (I'm gonna guess the child wasnt his.)

According to this article, the “hundreds of thousands of women who died from illegal abortions” was a completely made up lie intended to get abortion legalized. It never was the case. And so all of the talk now about “going back to those days” is actually OK, because it wasn’t happening then either.
but they can still have babies, Ja?! ... or does the snip-snip supersede one's 'bility to create life???

Stink, the real question is do leftist males bank their seed, change genders and attempt to impregnate themselves? GFY becomes reality personified! And most importantly Darwin is confirmed. Nature produces defects but does not favor their suvival!

It's not just Ireland. It's all over the world. Over the last couple decades, abortion has become more and more legalized in the industrialized world. My god, even Mexico of all places just legalized it last year when their version of the Supreme Court ruled unanimously that penalizing abortion was unconstitutional. And this is saying something because like Ireland, Mexico is deeply Catholic. 80% of the population identifies as such and it's embedded in their culture.
Fox News would have you believe just the opposite when they point out we are only one of a few countries where late term abortion is legal. What they don't tell you is that late term abortion is only legal here in very few places and in limited circumstances. And of course they don't tell you that now we are only one of a few industrialized countries where abortion is totally banned as well.
What makes no sense is why would they even want states to be a "laboratory" on this when we already have the entire world acting as a laboratory. It's like they have their head in the sand on this and just about any other issue where the world has already given us an answer that they just don't like.

Indeed it will. It should be that way in every state.

Abortion isn't totally banned, idiot. And we don't give a rats ass about what the rest of the world is doing. You should move to one of those places.
