Excellent work. The value of electing Trump in 2016 now becomes apparent. Trump put Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Comey-Barret on the Supreme Court. Imagine for a minute or so the type of judges the Hildebeest would have put in there. The Lord definitely at work right there.

Some US businesses are now announcing new abortion related benefits for impacted employees. Note that a number of them began exploring this when the draft Roe vs Wade decision was leaked in early May. That "advance notice" certainly helped spur the research and planning of these companies.

Most will cover the cost of sending employees out of state that seeking an abortion. Some will also cover the travel costs of the spouses.

Quick list includes Amazon, Apple, Lyft, Citigroup, Door Dash, Chobani, Microsoft, Dick's Sporting Goods, Tesla, and Starbucks.

It will be interesting to see how many other major corporations provide this benefit to employees.

Companies assuming legal liability for aiding employees cross state lines to commit murder.

Lawyers about to get paid.

Since the vast majority of the employees on the company health plans are management that could very well reverse the reversal. But hey we do live in a two party system.

Simple. Pass a law that says women MUST be offered ACCESS to EC when seeking medical care after sexual assault. But no, the Left are only worried about their next election. Even if a bill is introduced it will be filled with giveaways and payouts. That would be a simple one paragraph bill that would get near unanimous consent. But it won't happen because when all is said and done, THEY DON'T CARE. Everything is political. Oh, and for you geniuses out there, EC stands for Emergency Contraceptive.

Neither side has the high ground on pork in proposed legislation but please remind us of the last piece of Republican supported social legislation?

Absolutely, it has nothing to do with being "pro-life" and everything to do with misogyny, control and placating the zealots in the GOP base. Many of the states that are now rushing to ban abortion are also among the states that have refused to expand Medicaid, making care less available for those pregnant women they will now force to carry pregnancies to term. Texas being chief amongst them, with the highest number & percentage of uninsured people in the nation -

https://comptroller.texas.gov/economy/fi...nsured.php

If the GOP was really pro-life, they'd pair their abortion restrictions with programs to ensure adequate prenatal care is available along with support for raising the children that the state is forcing women to birth. But that would be expensive and make it harder to reduce taxes on corporations and the wealthy, so they'll likely just continue with their pro-fetus obsession.

The GOP just wants them born, after that they are on their own. If they have terrible lives it's just because their parents didn't work hard enough, and if they get mowed down by weapons of war in their elementary classrooms they will be the subject of many thoughts & prayers (since these are free, they don't interfere with cutting taxes).

And yet---the Democrats want to pat themselves on the back for passing legislation that supposedly provides healthcare to the poverty stricken---but the Democrat bill did NOT PAY FOR THE COST OF INSURING THOSE PEOPLE. The Democrat politicians were so gutless, that they didnt want to be seen voting for the trillions in spending it would take to pay for it----so they sought to shove the cost onto the individual state budgets---while continuing to pretend they actually provided a benefit to the poor. They didnt. Where it was done----it was done by the individual states. Yes, the Feds paid for the cost of the Medicaid extension for a couple of years---but the federal help ends after a few years leaving the states to cover the massive health care burden alone. Many states saw that huge Medicaid extension as a massive budget buster for the state budgets and didnt accept the Fed bribe. Those were the fiscally responsible states.

Throwing a temper tantrum and attacking people for their faith is not going to change the facts of the case.

Abortion is not and never was in the constitution. And yet here you are throwing a 2 day temper tantrum because the court correct ruled that.

Your position on this is remarkably stupid and dishonest. And your childish unhinged reaction again shows your true colors.

The Democrat politicians were so gutless, that they didnt want to be seen voting for the trillions in spending it would take to pay for it----so they sought to shove the cost onto the individual state budgets---while continuing to pretend they actually provided a benefit to the poor. Please, their refusal to expand Medicaid has nothing to do with cost. The federal payment for expanding Medicaid doesn't end, it just stopped paying the ENTIRE cost after after 2016. It declined gradually until hitting the level of NINETY PERCENT, where it stays with no further declines under the ACA. It's a bargain for the states, ensuring coverage for the vast majority of their people at little cost compared to traditional Medicaid prior to Obamacare.

https://www.healthinsurance.org/faqs/ive...for-costs/

They just hate it because it's Obamacare, socialism, passed by Democrats, blah blah blah. And they especially hate it because it's popular - no state where its been put on the ballot has declined to expand Medicaid, including some very red states like Idaho, Utah and Nebraska. But in Texas Governor Abbott would rather spend taxpayers money on stunts like duplicative border inspections that accomplish nothing but spoiling millions of dollars in produce at a time of high food prices.

Me too. I was fine with the whole concept of civil unions which gave gay couples all the benefits of marriage without forcing the rest of us to accept that two men or two women were married. It's disconcerting and throws off my equilibrium every time I see two lesbians and one is introduced as the husband or two queers and one is introduced as the wife.

Ahhh snowflake does it trigger you?

Not at all, but it must trigger you, punkin.

Yes sir, they aren't equipped for real struggles so they should give up before they get hurt. Remove their ability to be "birthing persons" and they have no reason to worry about RvW. Besides, what self respecting man wants to have his urethra expanded to 100 times it's normal size to pass a baby??
