The fact people think that New Mexico State can't survive a coaching change is kind of funny.

The actual rock star of the of the Aggie program is our AD Moccia. Men's basketball wise, he has made all the right coaching moves thus far. You can tell NMSU is hiring from a stacked deck when you look at the Aggie coaching candidates NMSU didn't hire over the years... Joe Pasternack... currently the UCSB Head Coach, Tony Stubblefield... now the DePaul Head Coach, Jerome Tang... now the Kansas State Head Coach... Chris Crutchfield recently hired as the Omaha Head Coach. Moccia typically has a good list of candidates to pick from for our next head coach. The Aggie head coaching position is a desirable job. NMSU winning tradition really helps with recruiting, the campus is beautiful, the fans are knowledgeable and very engaging, and the PAC has a lot of great stories and memories within it walls... Larry Bird... Larry Johnson... Pascal Siakam... and the many Championship banners hanging from the rafters.

The real rockstar of NMSU basketball is Jeff Hurd, who has added inept D2 programs to the WAC for years (Bakersfield, UMKC, Chicago State, Tarleton, ect.) making it easy for NMSU to waltz their way to a few Candyland NCAAT appearances. Let's be real, NMSU is an average mid major program that has benefited from being unattractive to any competent conference. They're in for a wake up call in C-USA. Sources telling me they'll finish fourth... at best.

Yeah, stupid UConn for losing to an average mid-major. Damn Miami, Washington State, Mississippi State and Davidson for losing to NMSU too.

Of course you don't speak Mexican!
Mexican isn't a language. Spanish is a language.

I really do not know how that can be confusing.

Pipe down. Your school lost to D2 Tarleton 43-17. You’re in no position to tell me what to call that language.

You're right we lost to D2 Tarleton 43-17. That still doesn't change the fact that you thought Mexican was language. Once again, Spanish is a language. Now you have been told twice. I know they don't teach you that Mexican is a language at SHS, so what gives?

Let's all simmer down. I really don't want this thread locked or put in the smack talk category. SammyH really doesn't care about what anyone else thinks but himself.

Aggies sign a 6'7" PG. He played for GH last year, so he is familiar with the "system".

Can I just say, this is the one I was waiting for. Part of our inconsistencies last year was, in my opinion, due to inconsistent PG play. Time will tell if this helps that problem, but I like where this is going.

GO AGGIES!!!!!
