I can remove Turner. Didn’t know he left mid season. Most are, yes. But the 6 guys leaving USM were in their top 7 in scoring. Essentially replacing their entire team. Ivy-Curry at UTSA was their best player. Ezikpe and Hunter started for ODU. Mullins, Abercrombie, and Hutchins got minutes for Rice.

For Rice, Mullins and Abercrombie will be grad transfers. Hutchins missed 20-21 season due to an injury and played in only 9 games this year

Looks like the Russians hacked our most popular forum so we don't know of any news yet. We lost to Southern Utah last night so the season is over. Should be hearing something soon.

and a side note or two forUSM is we had no seniors this year. On the traditional senior day all that was recgonized in pregame was 2 of the student managers. Last year Stevenson entered the portal and it was widely speculated/rumored he was going to Mississippi St but he ended up back at USM. Had he not returned we may have only won 2 or 3 games this year instead of 7. Plus it didn't hurt that one of our OOC games vs a non D1 got cancelled and replaced by another NAIA team with a student population of less than 100. The team that was originally scheduled back in December cancelled due to Covid issues and that team ended up winning the NAIA national championship a couple of days ago. That would've been a surefire loss for us had it been played.

Ondigo was a 2021 transfer. If he hasn’t appeared on anyones roster by now, he has probably quit the sport. I wouldn’t be shocked to see more show up at Rice. Do players still get to immediately transfer, even if they haven’t graduated?

Rice lost its best wide receiver, Jake Bailey, to the portal after the second day of Spring practice. Starting linebacker Antonio Montero transferred out to Villanova.
