It's been too long since we've been in the tourney.
1 day off between games negates the 2 hour "rest" differential.
Everything's driven by tv execs - at least the first weekend.

Sadly, I think a number of our “grey crew” fans will go out there expecting to see BLM & Antifa protests on every corner but will ultimately be disappointed. Portland was a cool city. Hopefully Memphis has prepared them for the scent o’ weed.

My girlfriends son lives in Portland and her sister lives in Redmond. Like Memphis, Portland is not what it once was. More like San Francisco in that it was once a great city but now inhabited by the homeless that choose and embrace that lifestyle.

I think that all started about 20 or more years ago when the Mayor of Portland said that the city would always welcome homeless people. So the Mayor of San Francisco gathered up as many homeless people as he could find and put them to buses to Portland. I went to Portland on a business trip about a month after that happed and there were homeless people wandering all over the Downtown Portland area. Locals were not happy. I remember one block that must have had 20 homeless people on it. Quit a site to behold.

I read that Bates was allowed to make the trip.
