Don't worry, this will never make the news. All they will talk about for days is the charges for a couple guys that planned to do something they never did on Jan. 6.

Remember when you guys hated judicial activism?

Doesn't really matter that much. Companies who actually care about their employees are mandating common sense regardless.

Actually they can. What they are saying is that OSHA can't fine companies for not having the mandate.

Because you are a numbnut, I guess we will have to point out that this is the opposite of judicial activism.

Telling a branch of the government that they do not have the authority to do something because it wasnt granted to them by congress is not judicial activism, no matter how much it chaps your ass.

Now, if you want to post some threads that are useful, how about telling us all how much less money we are making due to the 7%-9% inflation we are seeing. You know, the same posts you were making back when Trump was president and inflation was 1.5%.

It’s not judicial activism to proclaim that a regulatory body does NOT have more power than they actually think they have. OSHA is for asbestos and chemicals exposure

Upholding the law of the land is their purpose.

They did that here.

Now you want to talk about Kagan and Sotomayer(sp?) Blatantly lying as supreme court justices in the hearing last week? L.Y.I.N.G

So you want OSHAA to determine what treatments and vaccines you take.

I probably didn't write that well. I meant that individual companies can still mandate vaccines if they want. It's just blocking the White House from mandating that companies mandate vaccines.

How are they going to do that without access to vax status?

“Companies that actually care for their employees are mandating common sense anyways” 03-lmfao

More like unions and some public companies for obvious reasons

I work for a company that leans left due to industry and they never even thought about mandating. Just said work from home or get a test if I have to or want to go in office. Same COVID policy as day 1 although they implemented remote work feasible for anyone during this time as well permanently. 500+ employees world wide granted I only looked at policy for U.S. I would have left if mandated but they respected me enough to make my own personal health decision and I guess they just don’t care about common sense 01-wingedeagle

I'm guessing if one won't disclose, they could infer that as a "no". That would probably have to also be litigated.

Since somebody quoted rwt...

Quote:Judicial activism is a judicial philosophy holding that the courts can and should go beyond the applicable law to consider broader societal implications of its decisions.

It's the "living document" side of the coin.

AKA legislating from the bench.
