I really DON’T want to hear them explain that. Because I ain’t buying it.

Next week either OSU or MI is out of the playoff race even if the pollsters somehow keep Cincy out this week no justifiable way to keep Cincy out next week if they are 12-0. Notre Lame is sneaking back into the picture their weak ass schedule doesn't justify their ranking even if they are 10-1.

Last 2 minutes of 1st half must have been wild... UT 28 OR 0

1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Alabama
4. Cincinnati

Utah proved what we already knew... Oregon SUCKS. OU should NEVER have been in contention for a playoff spot.

Notre LAME is now one spot back of Cincy in the popularity polls, I could see ND leaping over Cincy in the playoff poll, even though Notre LAME schedule is weak.

That's going to be hard for someone to justify if Cincinnati finishes undefeated considering that Cincinnati defeated Notre Dame this year. Such a scenario would start to cast light on antitrust issues, the Power 5 cartel, and poll-fixing as actually being a real thing.

If Oklahoma or Oklahoma State wins out then at 12-1 they are also a lock with Oregon's departure from the scene.

Alabama will be knocked out of the Top 4 by Georgia in the $EC Championship game. Doesn't matter how Bama does against Auburn if they are beaten by Georgia. Can't justify a 2-loss team in the Top 4.

With Notre Dame being ranked #5, it helped that Cincinnati beat them. SMU was a Top 25 team this year, and they just got destroyed by Cincy. Beating Houston in the AAC title game would be another win over a Top 25 team for Cincy.

Unless you have a chance, you're just a #16-seed Loyola-Chicago that everyone figures is weak because of your regular season schedule.

I'm probably in the minority but I hope Cinci is left out. Maybe I would have a different opinion if they weren't on their way to the Big 12.

Cincy better hope they are left out too. They'll draw either UGA or Ohio State in the semifinal and either will donkey-stomp them. They would be better off if they get left out and then beat some "we don't want to be here" P5 team in a NY6 bowl and then they can follow UCF's lead and declare themselves National Champs!

I hope Notre Dame gets left out too, because they would also get donkey-stomped by either UGA or OSU, and I don't want to see that happen to my second-favorite college football team. Go Irish!

As for the Cincy is headed to the Big 12 angle, yeah, that's true. But right now they still represent the G5...the great "unwashed peasantry" of wild-eyed schools left standing outside in the cold. Would be nice to see a Cinderella crash their ball.
