We've only been nice and complimentary to Southern Miss because we wanted to share a conference with them. Now that it's basically a done deal, can we finally make our true feelings about them known?

I thought App/GS was a bromance, no? App fans are almost universally great, but some remind me of NDST fans- amicable when at the top but turn when punched in the face.

I despise the ground App stands on.

App vs GS is hate, but with respect for a similar program and background.

Gs vs GSU is just hate, no respect given.

When GS is playing well you will see why SBC teams hated us our first 2 couple years here. We are easy to offend, quick to correct any perceived offense, and never like to be left out of any thread.

Marshall App goes back to the beginning of our SoCon days starting in 1980. Sonny Randle (Marshall coach from 1979-1983) called it the best rivalry no one knew about.

App was Marshall's 1st SoCon win.

Truth. That's the reason I called them South Al earlier in the thread, mostly to flame the rivalry a bit. But unless I'm trying to stir something up, I generally try and address them as USA on this board. It's one of those things where if we are to expect to be called Louisiana, then our fans who post here need to stick to everyone else's branding requests.
