No he would not...Because now you can double team before a player gets the ball.

You could front Wilt and actually have a guy on the back side protecting against throwing over the fronting defense.

Wilt would need a ton of shooters around him in order to score anywhere near 30 points a game. One Non-Shooter on the floor and Wilt would be doubled all night. This is how teams slowed Shaq at LSU...One in front one behind.

Back in the day I can put 3 guys in the corner one guy on the other side of the court and Wilt in the post. One on One all day...All Wilt needed to do was be able to score before the guy could run from the 3 point line to help.

They were probably double and triple teaming him incessantly --heck even converging on him with full force--- so he dished it to one of many open guys. lol

Funny, I was thinking if Moussa comes back, it would be so cool if he could get an assist or two a game.

Comparing Shaq to Wilt Chamberlin is like comparing Alex Lomax to Derrick Rose.

Comparing Shaq to Wilt is like comparing Bill Dazzle as a ladies man to Brad Pitt as a ladies man. You simply don't do it.

Ridiculous. Wilt was 7'1 playing against a bunch of 6'6 white guys with dad bods.

The Knicks had some 6'5 210 lb dude average 13 rebounds a game the year Wilt averaged 50.

Shaq was 7'1 300 lbs in his Orlando years and could run and jump like a SF.

Not even close. See the hof list above. And there were only 10 or 12 teams back then so the teams weren’t watered down.

And Wilt and Kareem always had the elementary school rule in place to allow them to always be able to get an isolation on the post.

Bottom line is both Shaq and Wilt were physical freaks who used their size to impose their will on people.

So now we are using anecdotes as fact.

He also slept with 20,000 women... You believe that as well.

The Knicks had some 6'5 210 lb dude average 13 rebounds a game the year Wilt averaged 50.

Shaq was 7'1 300 lbs in his Orlando years and could run and jump like a SF.

Laughable. Chamberlain was alleged to have a 48 inch vertical (look it up) ran a 4.5 40 and won the high jump and 880 championship while at Kansas.

Bill Russell
Walt Bellamy
Bob Lanier
Nate Thurmond
Jerry Lucas
Wes Unseld
Elvin Hayes
Willis Reed
Clyde Lovellette

Just to name a few.

You're joking?

Wes Unseld is 6'7. Jerry Lucas was 6'8 230.

Bottom line is both Shaq and Wilt were physical freaks who used their size to impose their will on people.

Heck this is FAT Shaq doing work:

All hall of famers. Wilt may have been the best athlete ever and was easily the strongest NBA player ever. Shaq would have no chance against Wilt.

So now we are using anecdotes as fact.

He also slept with 20,000 women... You believe that as well.

Even if it was 5,000 women, that's still, you know, pretty good. 04-rock
