As my boss likes to say, "feedback is a gift". I'm not sure he will see it that way.

I agree. Just too raw at this point, I believe. One never knows about the way the NBA will evaluate based on potential.

Dude should have been in high school still this year, and he's dipping his toe in the water for the NBA. Who is he, Kobe?

This should have been expected. There is no penalty for declaring, not signing with agent, getting feedback from the scouts and then coming back to improve. I fully suspect he will be back next year.

He’ll be back

Yeah, that's my thoughts (and hope) too. With info gained from NBA scouts and evaluators, he will have concrete goals to work towards next season.

Right now, he's like Tako Fall, without all that height and weight. He's so far away from being an NBA 3rd-string center.

Hope he likes "constructive criticism" ... because he shall receive it.

He will. He has said he isn't signing with an agent to preserve his college eligibility. He knows he is not on the books to be drafted but it doesn't hurt to have all the conversations to figure out how far out of consideration he really is.

An NBA team might stick him in Croatia for 3-4 years. Money isn't good enough in the G League unless you are one of the priority kids which he isn't.

We have a 7 foot 260 lb big coming in. His "brother" John Camden is coming so he has a built in support system. John said on the 56 pod cast that Sam hit 6 treys in a game this year. He also said Sam is a great guy. John, who is 6'8, said he hit 48% from the 3 this year and is a plus 80% f/t. There are also big men in the portal that could give us what Moussa gave us just not his potential.

I want him back and expect him back. But we can be good without him.

Definitely should return. Got some raw talent but a real liability on offense.

Mr Rock Hands declares for the NBA... I thought I have seen it all!!

First constructive feedback he will get: "You are not Shaq, learn how to shoot FTs"

He would get taken late 2nd or signed to a g league deal as a lottery ticket.

Depends on his family situation. But I don’t think he could do anything next year to hurt his stock, but he could turn into a first rounder

I I think once you've declared it so hard to go back.

He could up his game immensely by being an average free throw shooter.

Well, now I don't know... When I got out of the car to eat lunch, it was all "He's not signing with an agent so he can come back". When I got into the car 45 minutes later, the same 2 radio guys were talking about "the tone of this [tweet? IDK what it was] sounds like he has played his last game in a Tiger uniform" as if he comes back to college, it will be for some other team. I don't know if they played "Telephone" to get to that point while I was chowing down on some chicken strips and green beans, or if there was some new info than came out...
