Completely subjective, dead of summer type topic. Love it.
My rankings (excluding Louisville, which is my team):
1.
Pitt ... as long as it is basically the look that Marino played in. The yellow/gold helmets, with the Pitt on the sides.
2.
North Carolina ... the baby blue is just sweet.
3.
Georgia Tech ... Always easy on the eyes. I don't know that I have seen a bad combo out of GT.
4.
Clemson ... paw print logo is excellent.
5.
Boston College ... Burgundy is a strong color. Like the simple helmets.
6.
Wake Forest ... I like the gold and black. And the WF logo is clean. They avoid making mistakes with the Deacon head of the past.
7.
Florida State ... fear the spear.
8.
Miami .. The iconic U. Simple. Classic. Original.
9.
Notre Dame ... Not a fan of when they shake things up. (Kelly green for example). Classic look screams tradition.
10.
Virginia ... solid, simple.
11.
NC State ... not a fan of the cartoonish wolf logo (
and yeah, I know. My Cardinal has teeth. Which seems to mess with a lot of people. Especially West Virginia Mountaineers. But I think they're just jealous. Our logo has more teeth than theirs.) They have the potential to be the baddest in the league. Wolf Pack lends itself to lots of possibilities.
12.
Virginia Tech ... I'm just not a fan of the color scheme. The teams are usually good though. So what do I know?
13.
Syracuse ... I like the McNabb era look. But orange and blue don't do it for me.
14.
Duke ... blue and white University of Kentucky effect. Boredom factor 9 out of 10.
So ... there is my list. And I reserve the right to change this at any time, for any arbitrary reason. Except the West Virginia comments buried in the NC State write up. Those are pretty much set in stone.
