Yep, AppSt had two wide open 3's that they missed. After they got the alternating possession at 7 seconds left, they missed another 3 (this one was not as wide open) got the rebound underneath and could not get a good shot off (very good defense).

AState and Texas State will play a Single game Monday in Jonesboro. The 2nd game will not be played. The single game likely cements Texas State as West Division Champ, as they'd need to lose Monday and at least once at home vs ULM to fall out of first in the league, however it increases AState's chances of getting the 2 seed by providing just a single game against the divisions best team.

In more interesting news, we declined an opportunity to play Arkansas in Fayetteville Saturday Night after the piglets had their game with A&M Cancelled.

Kerns broke the 1/4 the advertising sign on the sideline after kicking it late in the game, got a tech.

Huge win! What the Jags are doing with only 7 players is awesome. We desperately need a first round bye in the tournament.

Was it a settle? Last night were both wide open shots, we just missed them. Tonight wasn't wide open, but it was still pretty open, and a much better chance of going in than a contested shot in the lane. Refs are much more likely to swallow the whistle in that situation too.

We've jsut gotta hit those shots.

I watched the end of yesterday and today's games on ESPN+. I thought I was watching the replay of the end of yesterday's game today. Felt bad because you guys could have easily won both- but I guess hitting clutch shots is a big part of the game.

Speaking of clutch shots, that last bucket by Michael Flowers was just that. Wow! This is just a gif and it doesn’t do it the justice of what a great shot it was.
