Campbell fighting back, cuts the lead to 12.

We're back to seeing how much we need a true PG out there. Our athleticism and Siddle's system has merely been good at hiding this weakness for the most part.

Yes we are. There are a multitude of reasons we didn't go the ESPN route. A big one was the individual tv contracts that several CAA schools had and couldn't get around and have ESPN.

Another great reason to leave the CAA and join the Big South.

Big fat NO on the Big South. SoCon if we went that route would be far better. Best scenario is N/S CAA divisions or A10.

Any reason to believe that anyone in authority at UNCW is doing anything proactive to initiate a different conference arrangement?

Really easy to switch everything when we have athletes like Pridgen and Boggs in the front court. I think it’s safe to say that where going to match up well with any team that doesn’t have a true skilled big men.

If they have a skilled big man, he will have to deal with covering Boggs outside or they will have to play zone.

Wow, one of the best dunks I have seen a UNCW player make. That Lacy kid had a few nice ones about 10 or 12 years ago.

Last one like that I've seen from a Hawk was Stuart Hare's monster against usc.

Cacok had one in the Asheville tournament that’s noteworthy here, that was big time by Sims.

Head Coach of Campbell yelled something at Okauru at the end of the game.

Hawks 74
Humps 66

Well, I got half the equation right(Thank Mike O!). Pretty impressive defensive performance tonight.

Coach Siddle wasn't pleased either.

For those who didn't see, the shot clock was off and Okauru was supposed to dribble out the clock. Campbell was allowing him to do so. Instead, he took and made a wide open 3 with about 8 seconds left. Bush league.

OK I will issue an apology for my previous pessimism. I coached long enough to be uneasy with any lead, anytime. Despite a couple of short "what are you guys doing out there" stretches the Hawks took care of business.
Really nice balanced scoring on our part. Pridgen is going to be a stud.

To be fair the shot clock was about to expire as there was a gap between the 2
