Coach Siddle wasn't pleased either.

For those who didn't see, the shot clock was off and Okauru was supposed to dribble out the clock. Campbell was allowing him to do so. Instead, he took and made a wide open 3 with about 8 seconds left. Bush league.

He should have let Coach Siddle handle it instead of saying something to an opposing player. McGeehan should also tell his team to stop fouling when down 15 with 41 seconds left.

No excuse for taking that shot period.

Eh not that big of a deal. Teaching moment. Luxury for that to be our bad spot in this game. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and just assume he wasn’t thinking. Nothing about his character I’ve seen implies it was anything other than lack of situational awareness. He had a hell of a game.

I agree. He is a good guy. And he made a mistake. But what makes it a big deal is he represents the program. It's something you just don't do. He deserved to be called out. It can also be a learning experience. And I doubt it will happen again.
