I just got confirmation that Stadium Club members do not need to fill out the form.

I’ve gotten at least three emails today, plus a couple for Stadium Club only

Thanks, they have both my work and personal emails but nada.
Checked spam folders.
I'm in the box seat group.

I’m on visitor side, chairbacks. Like 10 rows from field. I got about 4 emails this morning.

The FAQs states that masks will be required at all times. Even when seated so if that’s the case why 12 feet instead of 6 feet?

RE: Keep Memphis Roaring - COVID Plan
Zoom call this morning
Suite email, 3 or 4 other emails.

Great communication plan - props to the athletic department

1) Contrary to opinion, the limitations of seats in the current status that exists today of 12 foot separation "at best" will only be roughly 2500 tickets in the bowl. How many individual games that means for most can't be provided because until after decisions are made by people there is no insight outside of a game for each person in the bowl. If only 2500 tickets which probably amounts to 1000 season ticket holders take the right option all of them will be there for what would most likely be the entire season. If all take the option then there are limitations based on seating that would limit it to one game most likely with only 2500 people in the bowl.

2) We are currently under the 12 foot situation, they are hoping for better but have no insight as of now.

3) Club seating will be based on priority and go from there.

4) All seating is based on priority based on where you seats will be

5) Suites are open and ask that you only bring people you have been around and or family etc

6) Don't confuse that if you are a season ticket holder (doesn't matter where) and you go in with someone who buys them for you, they are the ones who have the option if its in their name.

I think the AD and the staff did a great job of providing a creative option for people.

Mask at all times - entering and while in the stadium bowl.

That makes it hard to drink a beer.

I will buy a box of popcorn. It takes about 3 hours to eat it.

Latest word is 12-feet configuration allows for 4,500 fans. Not sure of the breakdown for season tix, students, families.

Even the 6 ft option is questionable IMO. Require masks to be worn most of the time is all that is really needed in an outdoor environment.

Shelby Co Health is mandating the 12-ft distance (for now). Their reason is that with yelling and screaming, the virus travels greater than 6 feet.

But I thought masks solved all those problems, lol. So much contradiction.

RE: Keep Memphis Roaring - COVID Plan
The Shelby County Health Department set the 12' distance limit for 901-FC soccer games. The University is assuming that rule will be the same for football.

Honestly, with the great number of unknowns here, I think the University has made a decent proposal. It's now up to us to determine how it works out. I'm willing to 'buy a pig in a poke', i.e. choose option 1 to hopefully see my Tigers in person. My usual seats are in the second row behind the Tiger bench, about the 45 yard line. But, since first buying season tickets in the 1990's, I have sat all over that stadium.

I'll be 76 on my next birthday and have some health conditions, but I will wear a mask and sit where they tell me for the games they let me come see. I'm truly hoping that a lot of y'all wimp out and don't choose Option 1. That way I'll have a better chance of seeing more games in person.

So, will you choose Option 1?

Now that we understand what the option is, I'm curious as to whether people will do that or not. Do we need a poll, or can people just reply here?

I already said that I would choose Option 1 a few posts before this.

I would have chosen option 1 for the 6-week scenario, but was struggling with option 1 for the 12-week scenario (keep all my money, let me go to at least one game).

I found out I don’t need to take that survey, but I did choose the “outdoor” option for the stadium club seats.

Sure outdoor equals less transmission but yelling equals more transmission. Hence the likelihood of 12 ft.

It’s supposed to have outdoor A/C blowers keeping it cool, and also covered. I did really luck out having those seats... It’a practically a discount compared to what some people have to pay for basketball tickets.
