Cut sports? We are adding sports!

Only two years in existence, and we are already an elite flagship! Can't wait until we start WLAX in a year or so. 04-rock

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe we account for somewhere between 60%-70% of the overall growth in the NC system?

You are correct. There are 17 campuses, and Charlotte's growth dwarfs the other 16 campuses combined.

Reggie Favre despising on WKU for some (known only to him) reason. Oh--- now I remember-- it could be that unrelenting attack by a certain WKU poster (not I). Personally, I think he went way overboard. Please do not put all posters from WKU as having identical views. Although I must point out that Southern Miss has been on a slight downward slide. Of course this could happen to WKU (recent football 2018) or anyone in C-USA at any time.

Yeah that poster makes it hard to like and/or respect WKU. I know we've got a few like that too though, so I try to not let anyone on here influence my views of their school.

I hope a school like San Jose St doesn’t survive and we take their spot in the MW.

I’m not dumb, I know a lot of CUSA’s problems would dissolve if we weren’t a member.

Not UTSA. I don't foresee UNT or Texas State dropping to FCS either. Those are the only three Texas schools new to FBS, so I disagree with your assessment 100% because I highly doubt any of them will drop.

They don't have an invite yet but I could see it. Also NC Central, SC State and Norfolk State I could see going to the Big South or the ASUN and the new football conference they are trying to put together.

That would then leave Morgan State, Howard, Delaware State, Coppin State and UMES to find a home. Coppin State and UMES I could see going to the American East since they don't sponsor football. And maybe Morgan State, Howard and Delaware State to the NEC although Delaware State probably should drop to DII or even drop athletics altogether.

How exactly is a shuffling around of a lower division going to affect us?

It's not but it is a sign of what is to come.
