The Cal State Universities, largest school system in the country has canceled on campus classes for the fall. That not looking too good for this Fall for sports. I think no student, no sports.

This data coming out around assisted living homes is eyeopening, and really shows how badly the plan of attacking this virus has been. It is absurd that while we shut the entire country down, the governors and team Fauci basically ignored an easily addressed problem that would have cut the number of deaths in half. A fraction of the trillions of dollars spent on trying to sustain the artificially destroyed economy could have stopped this thing in its tracks in assisted living facilities, and a fraction of the 10 million tests administered, could have gone a long way toward implementing an effective policy to save those people. Instead we had governors out there forcing the facilities to take COVID positive patients, and forbidding them from removing COVID positive employees, all while we sat in the dark with regard to the staggering number of people trapped in these places dying, because nobody cared to report on the simple data that tells this story until we were 2+ month into this.

The Pennsylvania Secretary of Health moved her mother out of an assisted living facility, while requiring the same facility to admit COVID positive patients.

Absolutely absurd if nursing homes were forced to take COVID patients. Anyone that Did should be severely punished.

This is not conjecture. It is 100% fact that Cuomo, Pennsylvania, and a few other Governors did this.

Korea and China, and other countries, are seeing a rebound in cases now that they have eased restrictions.

Considering the number of governors that did this, there must have been someone giving this advice with some kind of logic behind it. Would love to hear it. Even I can't believe they were intentionally killing grandma to spike the death numbers in order to hurt Drumpf. There has to be an explanation.

Minnesota has had cases increase 200% and hospitalizations increased over 100% since opening.

I don't know who they are polling, but there is zero chance that if they polled a representative sample of the population of each of those states, the Democratic Governors would get all of the high approval ratings and the Republican Governors all of the low approval ratings. It's just not possible.

The Ohio governor is a Republican and he has the highest ratings of the bunch.

North Carolina governor is a Democrat but he's getting high ratings in a red state.

Not sure why Maryland wasn't included but their GOP governor has gotten strong reviews from his deep-blue state.

The Georgia governor is getting sub-Trump numbers despite being in a conservative state.

So it's not as cut and dried as all that.

I call fabrics on the poll. I'm willing to believe that there are more doomsdayers than flu crew, bit not by the tune of 80/20.

Yeah, there is no way I am buying the VA poll. Nobody I know thinks Ralph is doing a good job. From the farthest left to the farthest right, the best anyone seems to think is he's doing just alright. Obviously my circle is not representative, but if 80% were with him, it seems my personal sample would not be so clearly opposed. The spread here shows one of two things in my opinion. Either the polls are rigged, or the media narrative is working because very few people are absorbing anything other than the headlines they read on mainstream media, which are, by design, skewed to make Dems, or anyone who follows their line look good, and Rs look bad.

NCAA extends dead period through June 30 at the earliest.

Quote:The committee will review the dead period dates on May 27 and could extend the dead period at that time.

Well, there is one thing that is totally believable in that poll, and that is that most people are just not very smart.

Seriously, considering we are 49th! in testing, how can anyone really believe Northam has done a good job? Even if you agree that he made all the right moves regarding shutting down the state, shouldn't the testing fact alone give you reason to think that in what is arguably the most important data point that allows us to assess the situation, he has not come through for the citizens of the Commonwealth?

I think it's plausible that both smudge and MB have both, consciously or otherwise, created an echo chamber amongst their friends. I'd also be willing to wager, that maybe aside from Token, MB's liberal friends aren't all that liberal and neither are smudge's conservative friends all that conservative.
