In the early weeks of the viral arrival in the US, Trump and Fox were in lockstep claiming it was no worse than the flu and the media was drumming up a hoax to hurt him politically. That’s when we could have made a major impact on the spread. There is no containing it now. How many cases do we have? Nobody f’n knows because we didn’t use the WHO test, and didn’t have one of our own. Weeks later, we still don’t have enough tests to even know who has it and who doesn’t.
