Frustrating season for the herd as erratic 3-pt shooting (#12 3% in CUSA games) and poor FT shooting (#14 CUSA) have overcome their improved defense (#3 FG%-defense) and shot blocking (#2 CUSA).

Haven't really paid attention to them....wow, their defense is really improved but offense went in the tank.

Somehow I've lost that lovin feeling, in regards to this upcoming game. I think my mind has moved to next year already.

I'll watch the game, but my overall feeling about it is kind of blah. It will just be watching a game played by two fairly bad teams, and for ODU's part that is very disappointing.

Marsh Has 9 and Bennett has 7 of them right at the basket. But no, ODU doesn't need more size inside - lol.

Refs are screwing us and we have Bad Kalu tonight. Pilavios is useless. Not looking good.

Start Kalu in the 2nd half and let him play till he fouls out (probably in 2 mins). Maybe this will embarrass him if it happens often enough!

Anyone (Giles) that can't see that Marshall's size - Bennett and Williams - is having an impact on this game can't see the forest for the trees. I've already seen a couple of rebounds they have had where they were behind Carver and simply reached over him to grab the ball right away from him. All the stats in the world won't show that fact though.

Pilavios tries so I will give him that at least. He just looks like he would be a better fit at a school like CNU. Can't believe that Jeff went all the way to Greece to recruit him and the other guy that has done nothing for us. Should have been able to get guys at least that good right there in Norfolk.

How many out of control breaks are we gonna have? Bennett is a horse, but we don 't need one like him cause the game has changed, there are no centers anymore.

Even Marshall posts up against ODU. Bennett is eating Carver's breakfast, lunch, and dinner inside. I don't fault Carver. I'm sure he didn't expect to be going to ODU out of high school to be their center. Jeff HAS to do a much better job with his recruiting.

And Bennett IS a center of the traditional variety, playing on a team that is playing a fast paced spread offense.
