???? I hope the team has a better attitude. I am extremely disappointed but I expect this team to keep fighting and hope our fans do as well. It’s not like they have mailed it in. Time to get behind them on Monday.

I think we can improve enough to win, but I'm not sure we can win 3 games in 3 days as fatigue is clearly an issue with us in late game situations. In fact, if we don't get a little winning streak going soon, it may be 4 games in 4 days.

We lost to JMU at home. Bottom line: We aren't good.

The team has some pieces, but we're a few players short of being good. We have some players forced into action that clearly aren't ready, Green and Oliver aren't getting it done, and Kalu can't stay on the floor. Wade and Curry are our offense.

We need a big man and a sniper badly.

I disagree. This team is not better than their record at all. They are one of the worst offensive teams I have ever seen at ODU. Maybe the worst. A walkon caliber player is the first guy off the bench, our best post player is a 6'5" guard, our best 3 point shooter is barely above 30 percent. This is a bad team. This conference is so bad this year that they can be competitive within it, but don't let that fool you into thinking this is not a bad team.

Unfortunately, a big man is not in our future for this year. But we will be a different team if X and AJ start showing up. We’ll be a dangerous team if they start playing to their potential. Push our record aside - and I like our chances in the CUSAT w/a bye.

I respect your opinion and I guess we’ll see how it plays out down the stretch. Time will tell, but I’m betting on this team. Easy money is against this team.

I hate to say this, and I mean that sincerely, but I’m at the point I was at during football season. Emotionally, I’m pulling for this team and hoping they win. But intellectually, I think the best thing for the program is to lose enough to force a change in leadership. I just don’t see Coach Jones ever taking us beyond average.

To the posters previous observation, I also think this is probably the worst offensive team I’ve witnessed in 35 years of ODU fandom. It’s just ugly, uninteresting and frustrating to watch.

Hopefully he continues to develop and understand his role. He could have made better decisions down the stretch that could have resulted in a different outcome.

I think Curry was trying to do too much and was gassed at the end. Shame we can't finish games.
