Towson an 8 point favorite at the moment. I just don't see the Dukes winning this one, so they probably will. It would be a huge confidence booster.

Our team results may not be good, but Flo Sports is absolutely killing our fan interest as well. Can’t wait for that deal to end.

This game is likely to be ugly basketball, but a toss up for who will win. Both the Tiggers and the Dukes have losing records against D-1 opponents and have combined for zero good wins so far.
As bad as I think Rowe has been in his career, even I am surprised the Dukes are in next to last place at 1-5. There is no way this team should lose like this in a down CAA. 33% of the CAA schedule is done and JMU needs this one to give hope of avoiding a 4th straight Keener round at the tourney. Currently, they are 2 games behind 6th place Towson and a loss would put them 3 back with 11 to play.

The Tiggers usually hang their hat on bully basketball, but aren’t as strong on the boards this year. Good rebounding, but not dominant rebounding. Their ball handling is suspect and I expect JMU to full court press early and often.
Will the Dukes ever look like a coherent team of division 1 basketball players or just a bunch of talented guys with no clue?

If the game is ugly at least we can have fun watching how many neck veins Skerry blows out as he screams at the officials and his players. Quality entertainment.

Bless you for caring enough to watch. I'm like many Redskins fans this past season. A win is nice, but a loss might be better if it actually means some changes will occur at the end of the season.

Ordinarily, I'd be following the score, listening or watching on the iPhone. Our complete inability to string victories together against decidedly average competition has jilted me though. Year after year, team after team under Rowe-it never changes. I'm totally numbed to JMU men's hoops and completely indifferent. I do hope they win, but failure now may accelerate future success (as long as someone who's not Alger, King, Bourne or our BOV picks the new coach!!!).

I like to look at league play when judging a coach because over the years, JMU has had varying strengths in scheduling. While Keener has clearly had the worst record in school history winning only 19% of his games, Rowe has the inauspicious distinction of being second to worst winning only 33%. Dillard looks like a superstar by comparison at 42% with Brady at 48%.

The problem with JMU basketball has been the administration's arrogance. Lefty was let go because they expected better (he won 65% of his league games) and the same when saying "goodbye" to Matt Brady. I didn't think Brady connected well with his players and wasn't sad to see him go, but hiring Rowe has clearly been a disaster. It's time to stop being cheap and arrogant and hire a coach with experience and demonstrated success.

This has been a physical game and the refs are letting them play which, of course, favors Towson. Only a combined 2 FT attempts for the entire half.
JMU is shooting 28% and Towson is on fire in comparison shooting 29%.

Whether deserving or not, somebody will win this game.

I won't pay for Flo Sports anymore, but i do listen on radio.

We have 18 points at halftime and I think I heard about 3 or 4 airballs from 3-pt range. Lucky for us, Towson only has 22 and has almost matched our offensive futility.

I was planning on going to W & M on Thursday. Right now all I can root for is a good pre-game happy hour in Williamsburg.

He could probably be outwitted by a middle school coach, but that's good to know. A good way to numb the pain of watching more 3s chucking street ball.

I was a sucker and paid for Flo for a few months, finally cancelled last week. This just sucks.... we can’t really be this bad can we? 36-20 last I looked.
