RE: IT'S NOT TIME TO......
Lance Thomas doesn't need to play another minute unless we're up by 20+.

It'll probably take more than a couple of wins over a poor and an average team.
Probably need to win 4-6 in a row to get ranked again. Team will be out of the Top 25 regardless of what happens tomorrow.
folks seem far calmer now...
I don't think more than a handful were ready to jump off the ledge.
Losing Wiseman is what it is for the year.

Everyone needs to have a role on this team for the talent to gel. The bigs need to be focused on rebounding. Precious can still continue with point production, but Dandridge and Lance need to make their primary objective rebounding. Draw up a few plays for Dandridge to help him develop, but outside of that, focus on rebounding.
Summary....We DON'T have Traditional BIG's outside of Dandridge, which makes this style of play VERY difficult to adopt when you have guards (like ours) that are strictly play-makers that aren't adept at boxing out and rebounding....Forcing Lance, Maurice and even Precious, for that matter to rebound and become effective in transition to finish is totally against what the makeup of this team is about and the plan that CPH want's to employ...You MUST have role-players to establish this technique, as our team has very few, if ANY "Role Players" ie, those that are willing consciously and subconsciously to make sacrifices for the gr8er good...
Of course you can place that on the defection of "The Tix" (As he would be the antagonist to engulf 80-90% of the available rebounds) then everyone else's role would then be to make plays in transition (what this roster is designed for) but rn that's neither here nor there....
For this team to become successful, Malcolm is going to have to establish that role and allow these playmakers to flourish....Capish
Why are you guys bringing up rebounding like it's an issue? We've only been outrebounded in 2 games all year, and neither of them were losses.
You don't think Lomax, Damian, and LQ are good rebounding guards, then I don't know what to say.
Getting outrebounded on offensive rebounds. That may change with D.J. back to 100%. I was pleased to see Isaiah getting in there and mixing it up with the bigs last night. He was blocking shots from behind the 7ftr without fouling. Not easy. If he can do that consistently he will help rest Malco and P.A. some.

Yes! IM can be a critical piece in the destiny of this team for 5-8 minutes per game by using his length to disrupt the opposing teams inside forces.... critical

yeah, but Wiseman brought us Precious, Lester, and Boogie...so I still appreciate his signing with Memphis and bringing us all that attention going into this season.
