Our two best players both have glaring weaknesses that will cost us games. NPL cant shoot or make FTs. Rose cant shoot 3s consistently. Anytime Temple runs into a team that is athletic as them they will struggle, especially vs zone defense.
Team has NIT written all over it.
So true and so obvious to everyone, but HC McKie. Hopefully, he’ll learn from Perry shooting 4-6 on three’s, Alani 4-7 on three’s, and Scott 2-5 on three’s last night, that they should be taking Temple’s most shots. Rose and Nate combined 1-10 on three’s, and 8-24 on Fga’s.
Rose taking Temple’s most shots. Shooting but 42 percent on two’s, and 24 percent on three’s. Such has caused Temple three losses that didn’t need to be. Rose and Nate dreadful in Maryland and Missouri losses.
Best shooters need to shoot more, and Rose and Nate, Temple’s worse shooters less. This foolishness and favoritism has to stop.
Temple’s pressure defense that caused many turnovers and Temple wins
Not employed last night. Resulted in Temple committing more turnovers than Miami.
No need to change power rankings if McKie takes some decisive steps to fix the obvious problem. Could see this coming from a mile away. Just wish he had, and makes necessary changes so Temple can be successful in conference play. The talent is there.
