Jesus.. thats a sneaky bad loss. That Miami team is not good. That loss plus the Missouri loss means Temple is going to need a huge conference season to make NCAA tourney

Why would you get it down the court in .5 seconds, and then settle for an off-balanced 26 footer the remaining 4 seconds?

It is a disappointing loss for Temple and the AAC.

Our two best players both have glaring weaknesses that will cost us games. NPL cant shoot or make FTs. Rose cant shoot 3s consistently. Anytime Temple runs into a team that is athletic as them they will struggle, especially vs zone defense.

Team has NIT written all over it.

You wait. Temple won't make the tourney, but they'll knock someone off late in the conference season that would have otherwise.

You have to beat a mediocre Miami team. Tough for Temple, tougher for the conference as a whole.

Temple not an elite team. No pressure defense. Lots of selfishness. Bad three-point shorters allowed to shoot 1-10 on three’s. Bad foul shooter on court at end of game shooting foul-shots.

top to bottom we are a terrible 3pt shooting league

everyone in the conference relies on 3 but no one can make it on a consistent basis...

that is the biggest reason i think we are going to have a lot of interesting upsets when conference play starts...

Nah, I think UConn and WSU have a fairly decent shot at making it (and by that I mean odds over 50%); I'm not sure what the shockers have left in terms of meaningful OOC games, but we still have a shot at Nova. Memphis seems to be a clear lock barring any type of disaster in conference play. That would be at least 3 teams with decent odds. UC and Houston have struggled and seem to be on the outside looking in at this point, but I think they still have a shot at making the tourney. I wouldn't count Temple out yet either, Miami has a chance to improve their NET substantially playing in the ACC so that loss may not seem so bad by the end of the season. I think we're looking at 3 bids this year, with Memphis and WSU making it and one of the other 4 teams mentioned joining them.

I think at least 2 other teams make the NIT, 3 if one of them doesn't have an incredibly disappointing season (which I fear may happen, all have at least one glaring weakness at the moment.)

The two AAC teams in the NIT last year might very well be the same and only teams to rep the AAC in the NCAA this year. I hope not
