I called Youth Villages today and confirmed that the "Tiger Ticket" program is valid for the CCG against Cincy on Saturday. I will buy a ticket shortly.

I looked on the website earlier and up high in the corners are mainly what is remaining. Guessing it’ll be around 38-40k there for the game. It should be 50,000+ every game but that just isn’t the case right now. Better than it was, still not there yet.

RE: Crowd estimates for Saturday?
I'm convinced that on average at least 25% of season ticket seats aren't filled for regular season games. Goes to the whole tickets sold vs tickets scanned discussion. Although announced attendance never matches the eye test, it definitely doesn't match the ticket availability map.

For this game, a ticket sold = a butt in a seat with no exceptions. If we can get to the mid/high 30ks by Saturday morning, I'm hopeful that students + walkup gets us to record breaking attendance for a championship game.

RE: Crowd estimates for Saturday?
We got some SOFT season ticket holders, that's for sure.

There are rows of East side chairbacks that haven't had their ticket holder present for a game yet this season.

There's people on the row in front of us who came to every game the last 2 years and yet, have only been to 1st half of Ole Miss and Tulane games. They purchased the seat back setups as part of their season tix so I wind up moving down and using them.

We had a wedding to attend Saturday but just ditched it and will have my 4 tickets in the morning. I know we’re terrible people but that’s why my daughter, son and I have wedding anniversaries in sweltering August and not on a crisp October day. ?? #GTG

If we can sell out SMU, I fail to see why we can't do the same for this game. Sunny and mid 50's. Great weather for December. Game is on a Saturday, so no "many people work on Black Friday" excuses.

The LB should be packed for this game.

I know an older couple that have season tickets in the chair back sections. They never go to the games. Bless them for buying the tickets but the seats are almost always empty.

We just don't have the fan base. This town does not support the program with their wallet. They do with their lip, but won't go to the games. I can't explain it but it has always been this way.

Memphis has had divided loyalties for years.
Many SEC fans live here..and we haven't had sustained success long enough for fan support to really grow.
Hopefully, that will change soon..and coaches like Mike Norvell can lead the way.

RE: Crowd estimates for Saturday?
since the league is the one in charge of the game, a few of the bigger businesses in Memphis should buy the remaining tickets and then give them away as Merry Christmas to the city.

the last two championship games at UCF were pretty much sellouts which I think was around 45-48K.

Yup. People on the socials bitching about the price of tickets.

Just checked the map. Tons of tickets still available. At this point I’d be surprised if we break 35,000.

the past few years of success should at least get the support to sellout a championship game....I could understand if this was a regular season game against Tulsa being a hard sell...I have purchased 4 tickets and will be there cheering the team on. I am not a Memphis graduate but support the team with season tickets and have for the past 10 years.

I agree with the above that business giving the tickets as Hannukah gifts would be a great idea
