USA’s numbers aren’t great, but considering we were 1-10 heading into the last game and finished 2-10, I’ll take it. The new stadium being on campus (and hopefully better team) should help boost that number for the Jags next year.

Georgia Southern's numbers are surprising considering how good their program has been over the last few decades.

Troy's streak of 23-straight games of over 20,000+ is now over. I hated to see that. If there was more excitement surrounding the game with App State, I think we could've had a better crowd.

Horrible weather for three of the games.

Coastal evacuation for Hurricane Dorian affected the first game, we had a tropical storm on top of us for the Coastal game

The NMSU game was decent before hand with only a slight chance of rain but a strange storm system blew up about 30-45 min before the game and dropped about 2.5" of rain. I was walking in to catch pregame and got completely drenched walking from my spot in the tailgate lot to the stands. A lot of people just decided to stay somewhere dry. It was pretty relentless, you can see in the broadcast especially early on just how much was coming down.

The ULM game had horrible rain starting on Friday and bleeding into Sat. The rain kept up as well as the temp dropping out (by Georgia standards at least). So not only was there a threat of rain but it was pretty damn cold too. Once again, people decided to stay warm and dry.

The Gast game was actually a really well attended game for a Thanksgiving weekend. ULL had 19k and it was our most "normal" game weekend, if a bit on the hot side.

First year with six Saturday home games since we moved up and we got absolutely skull drug by weather. It was just not our year.

The crazy thing is the the tropical storm game was probably the third most unpleasant weather for the home game this season. That game the rain was steady through the whole game but for NMSU it rained hard to the point it was accumulating on the field and ULM it was cold and windy and it had rained a lot before the game.

Yes, I think we deserve to have an (*) by our name this year regarding attendance. One of my good friends is a reporter who was on the field for homecoming and he said he's never been so wet in his life. Said water was practically sloshing around in his bones when he got home.

Our announced attendance is accurate and not inflated like some schools including Georgia State. We count butts in the seats - and yes, three of our games were played in downpours including a tropical storm.

From the 2nd highest attended game all year to 2nd to last in the west. Sounds about right

2nd to last. USA had lower attendance average.

It was an absolute downpour for 4/6 games.

Without beating the dead horse that's already been mentioned, we're one of the few teams in the country that counts butts in the seats vs tickets sold/given away.

This past Saturday in Statesboro, we had both lower bowls at about 90% capacity and the upper deck about 30% full. We claimed 15k. In contrast, you could nearly count each individual person in the stands during Georgia State's game against South Alabama. They claimed also claimed 15k.

No clue why we do it that way when the rest of the conference doesn't.

No way the pics do justice to the amount of rain. For three of those games all season tickets my entire covered row was empty other than me and my amazing wife for one of them. Two games the tailgate area was so under water that folks were forced to tailgate in doors off campus and then be bused in at the last minute only to get drenched on the way to covered seating. Ridiculous amount of rain fell during those games. Crazy seeing a relatively full tailgate area just before kick off empty while people sat in cars debating on whether to make a run for it. Obviously many chose not to. What do you do with your family? It just wouldn't let up. Go home and watch.
