Perhaps we should load the box at some point?

Just a killer of a penalty. We had them stopped.

Have you been watching the game?
Yes. We are still in it.
We were out when it was 31-14 we are not a team that can come back from that far down.

Sure. The dubious call on Simeon is probably the game.
I thought his arm came around the neck of Crum but wasn't a penalty.
W/out that penalty the game goes down to the last EMU possession.

They’re gonna call that anytime you go near the QB’s head. Was a dumb play by Simeon.
We’ll have a chance to tie it, though. Good stop on 3rd and short.

Ball game. I doubt we go bowling. Just not good enough.
Need to rebuild this defense next year.

I feel for Mike Glass, who was clearly emotional at the end of the game. He might be the best QB we’ve ever had, but was limited by some awful play calling and a defense that couldn’t stop anyone good. I hope he gets the All-MAC honors he deserves.

Yep, the barn just burned... :(
My guess is that there will be say 84 teams competing for 78 slots.
The MAC has I think 3 teams which are 6 - 6.

RE: Game Day: (Senior Day vs. Kent State)
This season started off very promising and then the rest of the way missed opportunities at Toledo, Ball State and Kent State. They better figure out the kicking game-again-next year and get some help on the run blocking we did not run the ball consistently enough. Who will be the QB? Who takes Vann's spot?
Yep the defensive front needs improvement mostly brand new DB and we regressed at tackling this year. We have very promising WRs and yes DBs as well. I too doubt we will be bowling. It doesn't get easier with Ball State and CMU ascending this year. I never thought I would fine 6-6 disappointing but it is.

No way we go bowling at 6-6! Kent St and Toledo both finished 6-6, and we lost to both of them! It's simple, we simply just can't do the little things that win games! Missed FG cost us multiple games this year, missed extra points as well, and a defense that is simply not very good! RECRUITING is how you win championships, and this has to change soon! But, on a very positive note, we finished without a losing record TWO years in a row!

CORRECTION:
The MAC has 4 teams with winning records and 4 which are 6 - 6.
How do you spell "mess" : M A C.
I assume the MAC will end up with 6 bids (good guess - 5 primary tie-ins and maybe 1 secondary).
Have fun bowl organizers. Wish we could put the 6 - 6 teams in a hat and draw.

Therefore we have a poll: (Note: I assume it is virtually impossible to end up 7 - 5 and be denied a bowl bid)
"Sunshine Steve" goes for the "W" and a bowl bid (guaranteed) at 7 - 5.
This is got to be a Black Friday in Ypsi.
Lot of plays in the 4th quarter didn't go our way. Some times the bounce oof the ball, an official's call, INT, etc.
That's sports. Just ask Coach K how Duke lost in the last second..

From my seat it did not look like a face mask. did anyone get a clear look at the replay? CC was ripping into the head referee soon after. I think that's what it was about.

I am sure Creighton may get some looks at vacant Coaching jobs until they look at his overall record it is historic for EMU but non impressive to outsiders

It wasn't a face mask. Simeon's hand in contact with Crum's neck but mostly incidental.

We'll have to see the declinitions across FBS.
As far as the MAC is concerned, I think 9 teams were 7 - 5, 6 - 6, or 5 -7.
Almost in the same boat.
