RE: Wiseman Ineligible
The media is already coming to his defense so he will somehow remain eligible, despite Penny helping him prior to being coach.

Don’t punish the kid, punish Memphis. Let him be eligible.....for any team except Memphis.

I’m sure if Coach K assisted in a player/family moving there would be a 30 for 30 on how coach K saved another kid from misery, poverty, etc. Aided the family in the right direction to success and so on. Might even win the Nobel peace prize.

I don’t like the rules either, but if you started doing that then there would be no reason for the kids not to accept benefits. If caught they could just transfer and there is no punishment.

I don’t know the full circumstances, but if it’s a minor infraction he shouldn’t miss the entire season.

They're saying he helped the family move.

Penny paid $11,500 for him to move in 2017. Then the kid signs with Penny 2 years later. If that isn’t clear cut grounds for ineligibility then no one should be ineligible. Memphis will never learn.

That is blatant. The kid should remain eligible any place but Memphis.

Rumors on the circuit is Penny is doing all kinds of shady stuff. Just a matter of time.

Doesn't the NCAA know? Penny's just a great recruiter.

Was just reading on the Memphis board. Apparently he has zero oversight. Carte blanche

They're saying he helped the family move.

Yea, I saw that but honestly that doesn’t tell me a whole lot. Did he use his vehicle and pack his stuff to Wiseman’s new residence, or are we talking he paid for his family a new apartment, paid for their stuff to be moved, and helped him get set up in the new location? Helping him move isn’t enough information for me to determine whether I think he should be ineligible for a full season.

Edit: if the information above is accurate and Penny gave him 11,500 to help him move, in any form, then that should be grounds for him to be ineligible, full stop.

Coach K has hooked up players parents with jobs in the Durham area. CBS sports does a survey every year with 100 anonymous Head Coaches and Coach K is near the Top when it comes to bending and breaking the rules. I have a family friend who use to work in College Athletics and he told me that Coach K is corrupt and is the meanest most vindictive coach in College Sports. He told me that People who work in College Athletics actually fear him and that he is a total fraud.

Just out of curiosity as i have not moved in a long time isn't 11,500 quite a bit for a move? Where did they come from?
