That's because the right is pro constitution and the constitution clearly declares freedom of speech and expression and the right has long adhered to those principles, defended them, and tolerated them. The left is now so far left that they are socialists, who throughout history have been for the silencing of opposition and desirous of control of speech, media, and propaganda.
When the Democrats ceased being democratic they became something wholly anathema to our way of life, and then truly an enemy of its freedoms.

If they believe she helps them and isn't a threat to them, it's because her positions are more moderate/centrist than the left's... and the left is not nice to her because she doesn't walk in step with them. I mean, clearly she doesn't walk in step with the right and yet according to her, they're nicer to her about it.
I think you're absolutely right... that people like AOC aren't remotely accepting of any view that doesn't coincide with hers and thus are a threat, NOT ONLY to the right, but very clearly to people like Marianne.
I think almost everyone is unaccepting (thus would go full AOC) of people who want to outlaw their beliefs... who want to bully people into silence and acquiescence... who want to mandate groupthink and outlaw individual opinions. The problem for the left is that they don't realize (or don't care) that's precisely what they've become.

I got Trump voters protecting me from the Hillary Clinton's cult who came on my Facebook page cussing me out because I voted 3rd party. I was accused letting Trump win for not voting for Hillary. That is a problem with some people on both sides. Yes, there are some on the right get nasty yelling at you for wasting or vote on a 3rd party candidate. To these people on the left and right should stop because you are violating people's right to vote for who they want to vote. I would choose this woman over either Trump or Biden.

I agree with JMUDunk - - AOC is a much more effective asset for the right than is MW.
We all have crazy people in our extended circle of family and friends, and Ms. Williamson comes across as a well-meaning curiosity. AOC, on the other hand, is a jaw-dropping caricature of the utter stupidity of the left. I honestly sometimes wonder whether she was created by some evil conservative genius.
