RE: I hate to rain on the parade but
Um, I hate to be the bearer of bad news on this, but while the forecast for DeKalb may be improving a bit, it is not so for Huskie Stadium.
On my weather app, I was able to enter the coordinates for Huskie Stadium in order to get the exact forecast for the weather at the stadium itself. Sorry to say, it is not looking good at all.
The forecast is for precipitation from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It will start out as a steady rain. At 7:00 p.m., winds are expected to pick up, with gusts reaching 50 m.p.h. At 8:00 p.m., temps will plummet to the upper 20's with rain changing to heavy snow. Expectations are for 2" to 4" by the time the game ends. In other words, typical DeKalb game-day weather.
Be on the look-out for my game day stadium prognostication for our next home game on October 5. Early indications are not looking good at all.

I was actually believing this until your last statement about oct 5th...too early for that
Anyhow, the outlook did get better overnight, hopefully the rain comes later and all is good

Same for me. Like you, I spend a lot of time combing and styling my hair, and I do not like it all ruined by rain and humidity. Klake is the same way. Sometimes it is a curse to have a well-coiffed head.

RE: I hate to rain on the parade but
Does anybody know if those chairs they rent at the stadium fold down? Like if I leave my seat so it doesn't get rained on.

I don't think so - they look pretty solid. However, I'll be happy to sit in your seat to keep it dry ( ) while you're gone.
Maybe bring a plastic garbage bag to put over it.

Form what I’m looking at on weather.gov, it’s 40% chance during tailgating but only 0.06 inches. So some light rain expected but not very much

Weather.com has us down to 20% chance of rain now :) Nice to see the weather gods lifting their decade-long curse.

Not so fast, my friend! The Dog Fan Prognostication System - which is rarely wrong - forecasts a cataclysmic meteorological event for Huskie Stadium tomorrow. The only thing not in the forecast tomorrow is a magnitude 8 or greater earthquake. My prognostication system is highly scientific, where I stick my sensitive probe high in the air to measure atmospheric conditions and changes. Let me tell you, my probe was extremely titillated by the atmospheric vibrations it felt and measured! Thus, my prediction for a cataclysm. We had all best take cover in the bowels of Huskie Stadium for protection. A few of you may want to crouch down and take cover under the urinal trough for ultimate protection. Let's let the IlSt fans remain in the stadium to soak up the wrath of Mother Nature (and the NIU football team).

Dog Fan is on a roll! LOL
Right now, based on Weather Channel hourly forecast: at kickoff partly cloudy and 73; no showers until 10 pm when it will be 68.

Might make casual fans a bit nervous, and I hope it gets even better to eliminate weather as any factor!

I didn't even know Huskie stadium had bowels. But I guess if anyone knows bowels it's Dogfan.

Please don’t mention bowels at this time. I had a big bowl of black bean soup for lunch, and my bowels are quite distended now. My wife is ready to disown me, divorce me, and sue me. She said she’ll only leave me enough to buy a bottle of Gas-X. I just hope this continues through tomorrow so I can share it with everyone at the game.
