According to my phone Saturday’s weather is the worst of the 10 days listed. Anyone have anything other than showers and a high temp in the 60’s?

NIU should pay me to stay far, far away from DeKalb. Every time I drive in from Columbus, Ohio to treat my granddaughters to some BIG time college football it rains. One of them is still a preschooler and the other is going into third grade so they do not do well in a cold wet rain.

I've been watching the weather all week. They are never accurate that many days out... but with our luck they will be this time.
I plan on going regardless! As long as its not an all day rain I think it will be okay!

I had Athletics put two folding chairs by the urinal trough. My wife and I will watch the game there on my phone. It’s a good location and we’ll be protected from the rain. However, something tells me my wife may not be too attentive to the game.

I would very much appreciate it if folks would share their best tips for attending a rainy game in Huskie Stadium with young children. For example I was considering buying a plastic drop cloth to hold over us if the rain gets heavy. Good idea or bad idea? Any suggestions are welcome!

Bring a towel or 2 to wipe off the bleachers or whatever you're sitting on.

You can get single use hooded rain ponchos at Wal Mart for a buck or two, wouldn't hurt to have a few of those in your pocket.

While the rain forecast is disappointing especially since it will probably keep the casual fan/student away and causes issues with young children, the diehards will truck along and root the Huskies on to victory!!! Rain or shine, I'm there...EAST SIDE!!!

Best investment you can make is a rain jacket and rain pants.. NEVER use an umbrella

I bring my lightweght notorcycle rain gear. Frogg toggs.

30$ at walmart.

Can also find cheaper versions there I believe.

Throw them in a lightweight string bag and use as seat cushion when it doesnt rain.

My weather app said 50% chance of rain yesterday, now says 40%. Hopefully the trend continues. I'll be watching from Encino CA but want to see a decent FBS crowd from my barstool...

According to NOAA, 53% chance of rain at 6:00 PM lowering to 41% for the remainder of the game.

Only MD knows for sure.
