IDK what the totals are. But when you can borrow money at 4-5% for mortgages you do it. In Commercial RE investor landlords make money refinancing or selling. Trump bought 40 Wall St. for 10 Million. It is worth 550 Million today. So hell yes you take out a chit ton of mortgages on it. That is the entire idea in Commercial RE.

Unless he has some serious backers from the Middle East that could influence some of his decisions.

But alas, having the circumstances favorable to commit a crime is not the same as committing a crime. We all knew DJT had considerable debts, as do most real estate businesses, but until he does something unsavory not a lot can be done about that.

It's like some people see really big numbers and automatically thing something nefarious is occuring. In reality, really big numbers are common in RE so DJ's really big numbers are normal, especially in his line of business which is RE. My guess is this is just another attempt to sling something against the wall to see if it will stick.
