Thats what he owes. How much equity does he have in those asserts? Thats what you need to know whether those debts mean much of anything. My guess is those loans are backstopped by assets like buildings.

Technically it isn't even "equity". I had a cousin up in Birmingham MI, 15 years ago, call me about buying a building from Dental group guy who owned a building, medical office, 10,000 Sq. Ft. Guy was cashing out and moving to the Caribbean. We bought the building for 500K, and then refinanced it for 1.1 Million.....based on the practice group LLC signing a 10 year lease. So after that the Dentist sold his practice, it fell apart they stopped paying rent. We quit making mortgage payments. Our LLC got sued and lost the building. After soft costs, legal, closing, taxes, we made 450K profit with the property being foreclosed on LOL. The Dental group leased 50% of the building.

Some of those are probably a couple of hundred million or more. So what, he's a real estate developer. That's normal for them. Of course those loans are secured by assets worth millions more than the loan balances. That's called leverage, and it's how you get real estate deals done.

By the way, one more question. Were are all the Russian banks? I thought those were the only sources willing to lend him money.

I want too see Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler, Cummings and other leading Dems financial records.
