That is also in consideration provided there is enough demand. I know they are thinking about Reno to the game day building as well.

I down sized from 4 to 2 season tickets. I said something last week on here about ODU sales rep calling. They called twice on Friday and tried hard to get me to buy more tickets. Late last night I got an autobot call from Ted encourageing me to purchase more season tickets.

Same here....Honestly I think existing fans are tapped out. They need to cultivate and reach out to Alumni that have NOT purchased tickets and try to grow the fan base. Honestly I am questioning why alums lets say that graduated in the last 15 why more are not buying tickets.

RE: NEW stadium construction
I think a good question to ask here... Is there anyone buying more tickets this year? I'm going from 8 down to 2.
May buy four tickets but if I do I'll be reducing my donation. The crowd in the Big Blue Room might thin out a bit.

I graduated in spring of '18. Never received a letter about ODU sports tickets for any event. Starting in Jan, I have however started to receive mail for graduation attire, rings, and other stuff..

That speaks VOLUMES how pathetic the ODU Administration is with student engagement and Athletics. I have said it before...the moment a student steps on campus they should be a member of ODAF.

Even crazier, I bought a granite stone for the new stadium. You'd think my name would be in their database to reach out to....

RE: NEW stadium construction
So here is my thinking we play 6 home games this year, none are Power 5. If you buy 40 yard line seats visitors side its like $835 a piece. 2020 we also have 6 games but 2 Power 5 teams coming in, no way it's going to stay at $835 a piece for that schedule.

If I am not mistaken.....It is not 835 a piece for tickets including seat fee. It is like $500/seat which includes your seat price and cost of the ticket.

Ok, forget the price, the point is I don't expect it to be the same next year when we bring in 2 power 5 teams in. So if you pay $770 for a pair this year id expect to pay more next year. Agree, or disagree?

I say it depending on the teams performance. Another down year and there is no way for them to raise prices.

Just stood in the game day building seating and concession area and looked over the stadium from that locations. Were not allowed to walk around.

RE: NEW stadium construction
My wife and I got there a little after 10:00, and I really enjoyed the visit to the stadium. We met some other fans we know and had a good discussion on the draft. We got a good look at the ongoing construction, talked with Coach Wilder, and got to meet and get pictures made with OX.

We went from there to the book store and then out to eat. All in all, a good Saturday outing.
