Bradley and Schultz even talking about this is not good.

Long story short, the Hunter family loves Atlanta and GSU. The plan was for him to retire at GSU and go into TV (likely TNT). If Cobb had even marginally sat down and worked out a deal that was not a slap in the face then we would not be having this conversation. But this is Cobb all day long. Bryan McClendon who went to Mays HS in Atlanta, interviewed here and walked out of the interview thinking he had the job. Cobb said , new, and hired his buddyy.

So we actually found a unicorn? He sounds like the type of guy that doesn't actively sell schools down the river.

4-27 may have been worth it after all.

We've been trying to warn y'all about Cobb since day 1. The guy has a huge ego, and he runs off anyone that doesn't bow down to him. Gillin's had to replace basically every coach Cobb hired. There was a reason we struggled in most sports when we first came into the league.

After agonizing until midnight, he decided to take the Tulane job. Clearly we couldve kept him with lesser money if Cobb wasnt so full of it. Hunter loved Atlanta and Georgia State. No excuses for Cobb.

Cobb is clearly getting rid of all the previous hires and filling GSU with his friends from North Carolina. I've been trying to give this guy a benefit of doubt, but I'm so ******* done with him.

HA HA HA... Told you guys the day y'all hired Cobb he'd screw something up! If GA State is ever going to amount to anything they better show him the door.

RE: Ron Hunter to Tulane
If it’s true Cobb didn’t want Hunter, that would be the boneheaded move of the yr, Hunter is not only a great coach, but he and his family loved Atlanta, I think to the point where he was willing to stay at GSU even if a bigger program was to come calling, a great coach and a potential lifer? That’s something that just doesn’t happened very often to mid majors. Anyway, Cobb better hit a homerun with the new coach.

Sounds like he would have stayed at GaSt if he could have got a long-term deal My thinking is with his success you do everything you can to keep him.

From The athletic story:

He said he went to athletics director Charlie Cobb after the 2017-18 season to ask for an extension. One never came. He said it got to the point in the fall when “my agent’s calls weren’t even being returned.”

What. The. Hell. Why does everything have to be an embarrassment with my school?

I mean. Who deserves this? Especially the people making donations? I mean.
