Im am so happy about this. These guys deserved the win. Such heart, grit, determination. And what a total team effort. I don't think we win without Robinson playing his best game ever, X stepping up in the second half, Caver, Carver, Kalu, BJs foul shots, Carver, even Kithcart... what a great game.

X's 3 tonight second only to Trey Freeman's in NIT?

My baby is 2 months old and we get a championship. She doesn't understand her dad's struggle.

I would have had my 6 yo stay up and watch but he was throwing up all day yesterday and was in bed most of today. Made him go down earlier after I sanitized the area before gsme.

Both Elbert and Lu did yeoman's work in the trenches today defending Bassey. Once again it showed the importance of having some quality size in the post. Anything less than we had and Bassey would have dominated us inside and WKU likely wins.

Another big thing that someone else has mentioned is our free throw shooting in this game as well as yesterday. The last two games ODU has gone 20 of 21 combined from the line. Who would ever have seen that happening in such a high stress situation as the conference tournament?

Big time congrats to the team and I'm looking forward to the pairings shoe tomorrow.
