Link for current division 1 attendance averages?
Google fails.
NCAA only releases after the year is complete?
Anyone have a link for schools by 2018-2019 season averages?

RE: Link for current division 1 attendance averages?
Still looking.
There isn't a site that lists attendance?
I can find all kinds of stuff on last year but nothing for the current season.
There is no way that on the entire internet no one is keeping track till the season is over for attendance.
Who has the stats?

ECU is only averaging 3,558 or 44% capacity. However looking at ticket availability for the Temple game Wednesday night, only about 600 tickets remain. It would be nice to see a sell out.

I suspect next year's season ticket sales and overall attendance will improve due to excitement generated by the incoming class and prospects of a special season. Everyone likes a winner and casual Memphis fans tend to come on board faster when the Tigers win at a high level.

I agree, but we're riding on a High right now. Next year should be fantastic, but only after next season will we realize if Penny's recruiting roots are truly organic and sustainable.

Penny and staff have already demonstrated an ability to snag highly sought recruits from outside Memphis (e.g., Jones) in only his first season. Hopefully, the trend will continue.

What are the better viable options? Besides, Tulane (like in football) will improve and NOLA is a fun road game location.

You must not know that Tiger fans enjoy watching Tiger games. The location is a bonus. Now you know...

At this point Buffalo is a better option.
Hell VCU basketball with Army football makes a lot of sense. You know what doesn't make sense? Any justification for Tulane in this conference.

Army apparently does not want to join a conference for football. You may recall they dropped out of CUSA. Therefore, Army is not a viable option.
VCU maybe viable for basketball depending on travel, separation, and media deal considerations.

True, but I don't think many folks, even in town, realize the level of talent there is around here. Good friend of mine's son plays AAU ball & he says its just unreal seeing some of these kids. Every grade of high school down to 13 yr olds who are 6'6 & dunking down to 7-8 yr olds being flown around the country to play on out of town teams. And lets be honest, once Penny gets the Tigers rolling, no coach in America will be able to come in and get any local that we want. Its a self sustaining pipeline for the program.
