Sooner or later "the taxpayers" will electronically monitor your feces for bad habits. Be sure you fit your probe tightly each morning or you won't get fixed when you break your arm.

Well, in the case of the Dem leadership, they want this for their voters, but NOT for themselves, because they made sure the law doesn't apply to them (they are not on Obissmalcare--they have their own Cadillac plans that are exempt!) Funny thing about that is that the Dem voters still vote for them. Stupid is as stupid does.

So much for health care for all.

Maybe the next step is to eliminate health care for members of the UKIP.

Smokers, obese, gun owners, go to the back of the line for treatment. Not that far-fetched. Bloomberg is probably working on it.

Every time we take our kids in to the pediatrician, they get asked about gun ownership in the house.

Yep. Standing in front of the telescreen each morning doing the required exercises while Big Brother counts the cadence. Sometimes I think it's not so bad being older.

That's funny now, but I could easily see one day those with "unhealthy viewpoints" having care denied due to the good of the state

Actually, that's more scary than funny now. And your easily seen scenario is more likely than not. Once Big Brother controls your health, he has you right where he wants you.

And that will just be the start.

You can BET that if government is going to be the one "providing", they'll be the ones setting the rules.

Mandatory exercise leads to a mandatory food plans which lead to mandatory lifestyle "options", and so on.

Wouldn't be a bit surprised if they eventually got to the point where areas deemed to be "healthy living territories" and unless people are within those areas, they will be limited in their "coverages"....

As Ronald Reagan predicted, we will reach the point where, "everything that isn't mandatory will be prohibited."

Funny how when our young women are shot to death by illegals, democrats dont give a sh*t.

But mail the democrats some fake bomb dildos, and they freak the f*ck out.

It's amazing the things people will accept as long as 'they don't have to pay for it'

The irony is that in most cases they will be paying for it through taxes. Granted those completely living off the government tit wont be paying, but lets face it... they already are getting free health care... the rest of us are paying for it already.

I bookmarked this article the day I read it. It's beautiful!

Obamacare’s winners and losers in Bay Area
By TRACY SEIPEL | tseipel@bayareanewsgroup.com | Bay Area News Group
PUBLISHED: October 5, 2013 at 10:52 am | UPDATED: August 12, 2016 at 11:18 am

Quote:Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura are big believers in the Affordable Care Act. They vote independent and are proud to say they helped elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.

Good Libs, i.e. blindly following policy even when the eventual outcome was explained.

Quote:Yet, like many other Bay Area residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care law.

Yep. We told you so. Keep your plan? Ha! Costs $2,500/yr less? Ha!

Quote:“I was laughing at Boehner — until the mail came today,” Waschura said, referring to House Speaker John Boehner, who is leading the Republican charge to defund Obamacare.

“I really don’t like the Republican tactics, but at least now I can understand why they are so pissed about this. When you take $10,000 out of my family’s pocket each year, that’s otherwise disposable income or retirement savings that will not be going into our local economy.”

Those nasty, ol' Republicans. I hate 'em! But, darn it, they were right.

And here's the kicker...

Quote:“Of course, I want people to have health care,” Vinson said. “I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”

Ta-da! There it is. Liberal socialism in all it's glory!

Gimme handouts! Gimme freebies! Take the money from the rich! Wait, what? You're taking MY money? Well, that changes things!

Oh, and whoever it was that corrected my use of "ObamaCare" rather than the ACT... this is liberal paper from a liberal community. Take it up with them.

Mandatory exercise might actually be a good thing.

As a kid in school during the 70s and 80s I recall P.E. actually meant Physical Exercise.

I don't know what it means today.

Israel do have single payer health care system. Do they have death panels? Do they have other issues? We should look at other countries that a single payer system works, and compare them to the ones that do not.
