MY only issue is the claim that when given his choice, he identifies as a male.

If that's the case and you DON'T have an issue with the mother, then you're one twisted piece of work. If it's not and the child identifies as Luna, more power to the mom and screw the POS dad. At 6, I think the kid probably doesn't really know or care much....

But the reality is that the overwhelming majority of the population (95%+) is gender valid... so the default position should be with the father here, not the mother.

Neither of us know for certain, but the odds here are that the father is in the right, and that certainly is what is being reported. Perhaps you have other facts (and not merely an opinion that runs counter to what is reported and the overwhelming odds)

Doing surgery or hormone treatment before puberty (unless its an XXY or XXX or some other chromosomal abnormality) IS child abuse and should get the doctor disbarred and parental rights terminated. And probably jail time for both.

I have a relative who had anorexia. She posted a picture of herself and she looked like someone who had just escaped Andersonville or Buchenwald. And some "friends" were saying she looked great. I was thinking what horrible friends she had. You give love and help but don't encourage destructive behavior. And in this case, the mom appears to be forcing a lot of this stuff on the kid.

A 6-year old wants to please the authority figures in his life. So it Mom says to dress in a skirt, he will do it. In no way does that equate to him making decisions to alter gender and chemical castration. The mother is batshit crazy, the father needs a better lawyer, and this poor child needs to be left the hell alone. This crap sickens me.

One would think someone in authority in Texas would have enough sense and/or power to put the kibosh on this idiocy. I feel sorry for this kid, he is losing his future rapidly. The mother should go to jail.
